actually i was thinking for some reason he had way more pitches last night than he did and madson obviously didnt pitch at all and cant pitch the ninth

but lidge not being available (if thats the case...he has pitched three straight days this year)....makes sense

the organization needs to work with hof brown on shortening his swing this winter...its entirely too long and he basically cant catch up to any above average fastball

hopefully the fact that runs are down league wide is more of a reason than the team going gran pa

last i checked they were 10th in runs in the league....usually up around top 3

injuries, runs being down league wide perhaps, age perhaps the cause of that

or maybe their offense is too damn streaky for whatever reason

i cant wait to see how a team that cant win a friggin game on the road does over the next month

figure they have the same schedule basically except the phillies host milwaukee while the braves host st louis for 4. thats +1, maybe +2 games for the phils. then factor in the 4-2, 5-1 they'll go against atl head to head.
