I never thought he could top being picked off the other night but tonight was a new low. Who knows if that cost them a run but my god what was he thinking? Even my wife whose baseball knowledge consists of knowing the Phillies have red caps and sometimes they wear blue and Victorino and Sardinha are local boys asked "why did he run on that?". I told her welcome to the dark side.

We've seen Werth pretty much every day for three seasons now. I can never remember him making as many mistakes as he's made this season. Yeah, he made occasional boneheaded plays but so does everyone else. Not like this, though.

He's distracted and he's choking because of it and it's amazing to see on a day to day basis.
