Know whats comedy gold?

Those clowns who run out there on that field every night. No urgency. No fight. Going through the motions and expecting people to drop and run when they see the Phils roll into town.

Vic said they seem different. No shtein, icehole?

I hate watching lifeless teams.

I give you the Rockies as an example. Two HUGE comebacks two nights in a row.

Red Sox, as DonnyHo points out, are like a farging MASH unit. They win. Why? Because they have guys who get hits at the right time and guys who come up and contribute...like that farging gnome Nava.

HA!  Local news sportscaster said " the network (CSN) did not send us any video of Vic's home run but instead sent us footage of the Braves home runs".  The weather guy says "What do they have against Shane?" in the background.

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel didn't downplay anything. He sounded the alarms after his team reached its largest deficit in the standings since Sept. 2007. He said his team is playing without a spark, without the edge it used to have. For the umpteenth time in recent weeks, he hinted at complacency and questioned whether the game was the No. 1 priority for some of his players. He went on to say if the Phils are indeed "a second-half team, we probably should kick it in gear." Finally, Manuel petitioned the front office to add pitching help by the trade deadline, saying it would be "real tough" to catch Atlanta without reinforcements "because our pitching, especially our bullpen, has been real inconsistent."

Speak it, Chuck. Tell those entitled iceholes to step up and that jackoff GM to get some help.
