i think he's untradable now, unless the phillies pay all of his salary
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

charlie

If he can get on any type of streak, someone would be dumb or desperate enough to take him.

Seabiscuit36

i dont think he has any value now, and wont get much unless they pay all fo his salary, and at this point, its time to bring Brown up.

MDS

for a recent example they gave hamels 3 starts at AAA before calling him up

id guess they give raul a week or two after the break to get it going, then bring up brown. of course they should do it now since this team needs a kick in the ass like sunmo needs colby rasmus
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

I agree with MDS about them needing a kick but a kid from the Minors ain't gonna work with this bunch.

It doesn't matter anyway because they're still going to turn it around and be there at the end.  Even with the issues they have they still have way too much talent to struggle like this for much longer.

SD

wonder if Brown can play 2nd base, I mean, it's not that hard of a position to learn and it's not like you need a gun to throw it to 1st base

Rome

Brown is like 6'5" and 210.  Shouldn't be a problem.

So how about trading Victorino?

Send him out, move Werth to CF (and then re-sign him) and call up HOF Brown.

lol

they just signed him to an extension that im pretty sure you liked

now he needs to get traded? for who? where?

you're losing it, buddy.

I did like it. But what other chip(s) do they have? And they're not going to be able to afford Werth, right? SO make a choice...Vic or Werth?

Who would I deal him for? A package for a stud starter? A 2B/3B & reliever package?

I mean, what else do they have? Maybe Roob can trade away the studs he got for Lee.

speaking of Jayson Werth

He's hitting .186 w/risp, .122 w/risp and 2 outs, and he hasn't had a 2 out hit w/risp since the middle of May.

Saw that last night during the game.  Way to showcase your skills for a new contract.

Indefensible.

Even with that line-up being thrown out there, they should be better because of their core that is still able to walk and breathe. Hello Jimmy, Jayson and Ryan...step it up.

I'm tellin ya, its shake up time.

Trade Vic, bring up HOF.

Shoot Ibanez, reacquire Clifford.

The BIGSTUD

They aren't done now, but they will be if they get swept by the Braves next week.

Hopefully by then Amaro makes a deal.

9 games against the Braves left this season and 6 of them are at CBP. The Braves suck on the road.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

this isnt a video game, j

there is no logical scenario where any of things happen, save for maybe hof brown getting the call and ibanez riding the bench.
