Ha. Why even bother responding?

IGY thinks that one of the most successful pitchers of the last decade, who oops by the way just threw a perfect game, is overrated.

Meanwhile, Phreak thinks that a Phillies pitcher is exactly as advertised and a legit superstar.

Can we bottle this conversation and launch it into space for more advanced creatures to study?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Actually others would be surprised to see that I think someone on the Phillies is good, because apparently I am a hater

Rome

It's not a Lifetime For Women movie so stop reacting to every bad thing that happens like it is.  Stupid sluts.

Yeah, I think you're off on that one. Halladay is not overrated at all. He's legit.

right now?

or over the last ten years

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Yeah, right now.

Rome...I can't watch and not be affected by the slop that's on the field right now

Rome

There's nothing I can do about it so I don't even get upset anymore.  The Flyers loss in the finals was the last straw for me.  I refuse to get upset over the actions of retarded athletes anymore.  If they win, great.  If they lose, then farg 'em.

The BIGSTUD

Statistically Halladay has given up hits, but limited runs in his career. He's been doing it a little more lately, but it is skewed a bit.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

SD

Halladay is on the exact same pace as he was on last year and in some cases like WHIP and ERA his stats are better. Guy isn't going to shut the opposing team down every time he takes the mound.

MDS

like grandpa sea isle i am personally insulted when the athletes of the team i support do not perform as well as the athletes of another team that other people support
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I've tried that approach for almost 40 years and it doesn't work.  You just get angrier and angrier.

Ha - having never met me I can see why you'd think I can't get angrier.  Trust me, the little Irish drunk inside me screams "kill" at the slightest impulse.

I just can't get upset anymore especially considering this same bunch relieved 28 years of personal suffering for me just two years ago.

They can pretty much ish the bed until the core is gone as far as I'm concerned.

The more I watch that the better it gets.  The reaction of the poor bastiches sitting in front of him is just as funny.

they didn't lose today, so there's that.

no one wants or expects him to do that but for two months now hes given up more hits than innigs pitched and is 4-6...and included in that is his perfect game...great pitchers just dont do that...and two months is not a small window...yes the offense has shtein the bed for him on a few occasions but really since his amazing start hes been just a good pitcher
