the phils continue to play the lil guy like a fiddle...its starting to get kinda sad

silly me for not being a negative sky is falling doom and gloom loser pseudo fake fan. i should have randomly seen a historic offense collapse coming after back to back world series trips. if we could be as smart as you. and by smart, i mean always predicating the worst and once in a blue moon being right.

sky done fallen son...maybe as miraculously as its fallen it will rise but best believe its at your feet

and you shouldnt have predicted this debacle but you should have known the braves had a team this year that could and would challenge for the division...and more than that you should recognize what is going on instead of sugarcoating it like you are martha stweart and shtein

yup, the sky gave out in the middle of may. just like you predicted! you and only you knew the middle of the order would knock in 10 runs for a two weeks stretch. only you cracked the code.

Couple of games the bats went off but not a lot of offense.  9 games 3 or less runs.

Manager Charlie Manuel was livid at his team, saying the players have shown no sense of urgency to end their slide. He showed his displeasure before the game when he spotted several of them gathered around a television, watching the movie "Gran Torino." He ordered the clubbies to shut it off.

That didn't stop the Phillies from losing their fourth in a row and ninth in 11 games. They haven't scored more than three runs during that span.

"I see a whole lot of cockiness and big-headedness and complacency," Manuel said. "Just because we did something last year doesn't mean we're going to do it this year."

this is why i said last week having that team only meeting was risky...he was going to that card too often...you can only have so many of them until the bteam tunes you out...and once chuckles lost the team big trouble lay ahead
