I have a client of mine who is a Dodgers fan and seriously refuses to talk Baseball with me anymore. He says they steal signs and they are not a legitimate team and he will not talk baseball with me anymore.

Seriously.

also EVERYONE thinks the trade was bad. most of us have accepted it, you know, cause it happened, and have moved on. its always going to be one of those great "what if's" but hes gone. its over. what more is there to talk about with that.

like you have done with mcnabb being gone?

and hes an aging douchebag that was moved so that the team could rebuild and start a new era....cliff lee was a piece that could have won you a championship

which one should be less talked about?

really?

i think they are favorites to win the nl and a team that could win the world series but most likely wont...thats a far cry from being THE favorite to win the world series

Well then give me your heavy favorites. If the clear cut best team in the NL - who's playing with some key injuries - isn't a 'heavy favorite', then I question whether you know what that term means. I mean, even at this point of the season none of the teams in the AL are clear cut favorites to win the league the way the Phillies are.

i'm going to chuckle a bit when he signs with the mets for $9 mil a year for the sole purpose of destroying the phils.

if the M's decide to get rid of him before the trade deadline, someone will give up more then they should have.

rjs246

Maybe the Phils will trade for him. Will that shut you all up? Jesus.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

There's zero chance he signs for that cheap, the reason he was dealt was because the Philies didn't think they could meet his salary demands. He'll get $20 million per, he's been waiting for free agency to hit for his pay day.

1. no guarantee cliff wins them a title
2. who cares who is "the favorite," thats means nothing
3. WE, yes we, are still the nl favorites
4. even with lee, halladay, hamels, youd still be bitching about something.
5. mcnabb ruined the last 11 years of my life, i will never forgive him for it

all rube did possibly, maybe, give the phillies less of a shot to win a world series this october. why dont you let this play out before acting like weve been wronged.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

the irony there is off the charts considering he has a farging cheater on his team in manny.

Rollins to return, hit third

Jimmy Rollins is back, but not hitting in his conventional leadoff spot.

Rollins will hit third tonight against Pittsburgh in his first appearance of the season at Citizens Bank Park. He strained his calf before the home opener April 12 and has not played since.

Shane Victorino will remain in the leadoff spot tonight.

Chase Utley will not play tonight, so Placido Polanco will play second and hit second, followed by Rollins, Ryan Howard, Jayson Werth and Raul Ibanez.

Greg Dobbs will start at third and hit seventh, with Carlos Ruiz hitting ninth.

Rollins made one rehab appearance for Clearwater and spent a week in extended spring training before his return.
