fwiw lidge says he's ready.  get that choke artist piece of shtein outta here.  or at least out of the closers spot.

only time will tell when he moves back to set up but i think its much more than the closers spot...watch his stuff this year...its almost non existent...i dont know if its a mechanical thing and his arm slot if off or hes hurt but its just not there

I think it's mainly the closers spot.. he's shown over and over he can't handle the pressure and gets in his own head.  I agree though his stuff doesn't look that great, he shows flashes of it but is stuggling with consistency.  maybe it's mechanical.. maybe it's an injury.. but his fastball doesn't have the same zip either.

i think both are probably true

he isnt fit for the closer spot and has basically proven that...but at the same time its hard not to notice the drop off in his stuff

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

farging finally.  San frans manager is gonna get torn a new one.  stealing one makes the road trip a little more respectable given how badly they played.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
