the marlins announcers are atrocious

they have a gay little nickname for everybody, call players by their first names, cackle with delight at 1-2-3 innings...just horrendous.

Hamels is pitching out of his mind today. Offense has been pathetic the past 24 hours. Too bad they're playing like the rest of the Looney Tunes.

Why the hell is Uggla back? Weren't the Marlins shopping him? I thought he was a free agent.

That was a sad performance by the bats this weekend.

MLB made some rumblings about the Marlins' penchant of trading away their talent to increase the profit margin, of possible taking some of the Fish's revenue sharing money. They suddenly found the money to keep Uggla and sign Josh Johnson long-term.

Even with the offense crapping out, I was encouraged simply by Hamels pitching so well. Hopefully he can build on that to become the dependable #2 the Phils need.
