Munson

I'd rather face the Yanks than Texas anyway. No thanks to Cliff Lee, no thanks to the hotter team, no thanks.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Munson... I swear to God, you really are the most retarded motherfarger I've ever come across.

It was bad enough when you used to spit out tidbits about System of a Down and everyone thought you were a funny little retard from Delaware, but now you're just a farging menace.

Dear God just stop.  Please.  For the sake of everyone who has ever tossed a plastic cheesesteak on their heads, please stop.

SD

No thanks to munson, no thanks.

Eagles_Legendz

Holy shtein that was a massive choke.

That 8th inning was the entire series.  If the Rangers win that game, they're looking at worst 1-1 with Lee going vs Pettite.

Horrible.

You do realize that the "hotter" team is which ever team wins this series, right?

Pretty epic choke by the Rangers too.  They got on CC early and couldn't finish.  The shot of Nolan Ryan in the stands in 8th inning was awesome though.  Dude looked like he was about to suit up.

No way the Yankees are "hot" right now. They're winning games late but they're not by any means on a roll. They're a rollercoaster just like the Phils are right now. The Rangers have everything going good at the right time...the starting pitching has been excellent, the bats have been hot, and they're a bullpen-choke away from looking like a easy 4 game sweep of the Yanks.

Don Ho

Monday night - Lee/Yankees vs Jags/Titans.  Good luck with that NFL.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

SunMo

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Eagles_Legendz

Especially with it on TBS.

If the game was on FOX it might be close.

huh? other than barely losing to the 2nd best pitcher in baseball, what are the other recent lows?

Chase Utley had a throwing error last week.

I guess I should have put the "right now" after the "they're a roller coaster", as in referring to the Yankees. The Phils all season have been up and down, especially with the bats. Their bats still are up and down, really.

Every team, ever, is up and down all season.

Eagles_Legendz

Cliff Lee has 9ks through 5 vs NY.  Pitch count is getting up there though.

BigEd76

13 through 8 w/ 125 pitches
