That was probably his last ab with the dodgers.

yep, love how getting manny has blown up in the dodgers faces. especially those fag fans. not seeing so many of those wigs in the standsthese days.

Manny : Dodgers :: TO : Eagles

Both teams knew what they were getting into and took the risk, and both had a short term gain. Even Manny isn't a TO-level nutjob though.

Rome

No, but he is a first class thief.  He laid down in Boston claiming some phantom injury and he's done it again in L.A.

Say what you will about Owens but he never pulled that bullshtein in his life.

Was getting ready to make a similar comment.  TO, as much of a douche as he's been throughout his career, has never blatantly quit on his team.  Manny's done it several times over.   Hell, I think the dude got himself thrown out of the game yesterday on purpose.  He's been around plenty long enough to know the proper way to say something to the ump about his calls without being that obvious about it.

He quit in Cleveland, Boston and now LA.  Hell, the Dodgers just gave him to the ChiSox.....didn't even ask for anything in return.

Also, Manny's always been all about talent and selective effort.  Owens was a 3rd round pick out of a small school who never had a natural knack for catching a football, and he turned himself into an absolutely dominant WR.  But seriously, if I have to say anything nice about him again, I'll kill a kitten.  And not in the sexy way.

He never faked an injury or refused to play.   T.O. received some horrendous advise from a greedy bottom-feeding agent and his actions did help destroy a season, but honestly, the guy is a child mentally and it's not the least bit surprising he followed it.

Manny's just a weasel who's now laid down on two of his teams simply because he didn't feel like playing for them anymore.

lol @ still blaming rosenhaus...hes had thousands of clients and exactly one acted like TO....its time to let the agent thing go

Cards and Giants both lost.  Phils lose no ground in WC.  Yay baseball.

curious - what do you think will happen to clemens & do you feel it's worth our tax dollars to pursue such a horrible criminal ?

I think he'll be found guilty (or will eventually take a deal) and will get nearly bare minimum sentencing.

As for it being worth our tax dollars.....that's pretty subjective because not everyone in the country is a sports fan.  But sports, especially baseball, play a major role in our society and I think that the government should have more than just a passing interest in what the players and leagues are doing, especially when it comes to the use illegal substances.
