the odds of the eagles staying put in the first round and actually making the pick at 24 are roughly eleventy billion to one.

yup.  the question is, do they package one of the their 2 or 3 rnd picks with it to move up, or do they trade it for multiple low(er) round picks?  i'd be shocked if they stand pat at 24.

Unless someone rated high drops drastically I hope they only use a 3rd to move up, there's too much depth in the first 2 rounds and they have too many needs. I'd be fine with Mays at 24, he's not  a big playmaker but his ceiling is ridiculous.

ice grillin you

i just dont see the point of moving up in this draft....especially in the first or second round...talent abounds everywhere and its not like the eagles need to zero in on one position

i don't think they need to move up and they certainly don't need to move down in the first round.  and i'd be thrilled with mays at 24, although i don't think he's going to be there.

you just never know with them.  they rarely do what's conventional for the reasons i mentioned earlier.

Taylor Mays is a faster Michael Lewis with a healthy heart

I feel linebacker is the biggest need on this team followed by interior o-lineman and corner, not necessarily in that order.

You dmf'er. Ha! Only you.

? Now thats good grammer. :-D

I don't see how anyone can compare Mays to Lewis. They are no were near the same type of player, imo. But yeah, Mays can hit harder than Lewis ever has.

Since when do you go to the American Legion?

shorebird

I just can't see igy sitting at the Legion with his pants halfway down his ass, flat brimmed hat on backwards, a shirt five sizes too big, and a big blingin' clock hanging 'round his neck.

I just can't see it.

Sgt PSN

i'd very much LOVE to see that.

that actually made me laugh.

I agree about not really needing to trade up.

They could stay at 24 and end up with Weatherspoon, Iupati, Pouncey or one of the top three corners. That is fine.
