These iceholes won today because Phil farging Cuzzi blew a call at the plate in the 9th. Ishikawa was safe as hell, he slid in before the tag. He was called out and they won in 10.

Jay is right on 2 fronts..

1. It was a bad call. Ishikawa was clearly safe, but to be fair, the 3rd base ump made an equally as bad call on a ball that he called foul that clearly wasnt that ended up extending the at bat.
2. KRod is almost as annoying as Todd when someone announces they have an available Eagles ticket. Watching the game w my cousin yesterday, I said (and he agreed), having Armando Benitez was better - you knew he was gonna blow 8 or so games a year, but at least you didnt have to put up with that god-awful schtick after every save.

Speaking of Benitez, I had no idea he was still in baseball. But apparently he was toiling around in the Marlins minors because they released him a few days ago.
