Yes, it has.

MURP is gone.
FF, for better or worse, is gone.
Demon is gone.
Most of the talk revolves around politics (I'm the major culprit there).
No one posts anything remotely humorous and if they try IGY tells everyone how un-funny it is.
Almost all conversation is driven by IGY and MDS.
Not a single thread exists without IGY and/or MDS talking about how stupid Munson is. shtein, I was the one who started all of the Munson hatred years ago and even I have let it go.

cmon rj. phillies and eagles are talked about way more, along with the dozen other sports related topics. politics is just a filler here

and dont ever say mds drives conversation. that's demoralizing to anyone with intelligence. He sits by his computer and waits for an IGY response..thats it. matter of fact I cant recall one topic in the 3+ years he started

IGY I dont mind starting convo because hes all over the map on most things that its actually interesting to see what he comes up with next. it will be either be embraced or ridiculed

Things always get quieter during the offseason, but I wouldn't count on everybody rushing back in April or June. I wouldn't count on a lot of new folks coming in, either. To get rid of the spam, we've essentially made it impossible to join. You go through the whole filling out information thing, do the captcha, then wait around to see if I think the name and email address aren't fishy.

There's probably 6-12 new members a week waiting for approval. I'll probably reject all 12 because they're from China, Russia, or obviously want to advertise for free. Every now and then there'll be one that looks good, and it'll get approved. After having to wait a day or two, they've probably forgotten whatever it is they wanted to post in the first place.

I hope FF died. Not really, but I kinda do. He just seems like somebody that would be better off dead.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly why he left.

i chat it up with him occasionally on facebook.  asked him once why he stopped posting and the politics thing seemed to be the most significant, but not the run away reason. 

I assumed FF just got a life.

this is probably reason 1a. not so much that he got a life, but i know he's chasing his masters.

i wouldn't doubt this.  although i think that facebook is his new internet hangout instead of this place so i guess it's safe to assume that he posts updates from his cell phone while shagging his old lady as well. 

please ridicule me for that post.  i seriously deserve it.
