Maybe Schmitt will help as a lead blocker in short yardage. I just don't get how this team can suck so bad at that over the last 3 seasons. Other than that I can't imagine he will do much for the team.

I think players signed off the street can help the team, yes. I like Davis and he was cut from NYJ because of Richardson and Connor.
