I agree, every time they pick one of those guys I initially get extremely pissed and then I try to justify it in my head thinking maybe they will get a steal.  I can't think of one time that has actually happened.

Jeremy Bloom was pretty good at football.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

That pick didn't bother me, he actually had some potential he just had too long a lay off from football.

Eagles Re-Sign LB Omar Gaither To A One-Year, $1.176M Deal

I guess the Eagles think they are set at LB again this year.  Gaither, Gocong, Bradley, Mays, Jordan, Fokou, Mays.

Is there a worse group of LBs in the league?  I think not.

Maybe the Giants...for now. Pretty sure Gocong is gone by the time the draft rolls around. It goes against their draft philosophy but I'd love to see them take OLB Sean Weatherspoon from Missouri at 24. There was a rumor a while back they were interested in Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson, I'd be thrilled with that move. This is shaping up like when they released Small and Johnson and went with Thrash and Pinkston.

even with their low pick there are so many great possibilities for the eagles in this draft it would be very difficult for them to farg up

im just saying when they pick there will be up to like 7 really good players around...usually even with a higher pick there arent that many...thats how good this draft is...

and probably like two guys they could realistically pick where youd say they farged up plus a dumb trade

the bloom pick might have been the best pick of reid's tenure.  why?  stay with me.

if reid doesn't pick bloom, and bloom doesn't implode, the eagles don't start the 2006 season without a true punt returner.  not having a true punt returner in 2007 caused them to lose the first two games of that season.  as stubborn as reid is, it took that succession of clusterfargs to impress upon him the importance of getting a dynamic punt return.

which then got us this...

General_Failure

It impressed upon him the importance of passing up that guy and taking him with their second pick?

Are you saying Trevor Laws wasn't a better pick than Desean Jackson?
