i remember reading about that pitching staff when i was a kid.  last year there wasn't a single 20 game winner in all of baseball.  in 2008 there were only 4 in the entire league.  4 farging 20 game winners on a single team.  incredible. 

Cuellar was a good pitcher and a better man. Sad to see him go. The Orioles will never, ever be close to what that team was back then, though I don't know if they were any better than the Phillies are right now.

I remember Brooks saying that whenever Cuellar pitched he knew he'd be busy bacause of all the junk Cuellar threw. He had one of the most wicked screwballs ever.
