It isn't a 'must win'.  The Eagles could lose to Denver and SF and still win the division as long as they beat Dallas.

Alex Smith gets back to form. Eagles lead the NFL in picks, and they get at least two more today. Birds make it much closer than they should, but they get the W.

Wrong.

If Dallas wins out they win the division at 11-5.  The Eagles would be 10-6.

Um, how does Dallas win out if the Eagles beat Dallas?

Sorry about that.  This is what I meant...

If the Eagles lose to SF & Denver but beat Dallas they're 10-6.  If Dallas wins the next game then loses to Philly they're 10-6.  The last I saw the tie-breakers Dallas would win the division if they ended up tied with the Eagles.

Not completely sure how the tiebreakers work, but they'd be 1-1 heads up, and the Eagles would be 5-1 in the division while the Cowboys would be 4-2, which I'm pretty sure comes after heads up.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Pretty sure the Eagles win the division if they beat Dallas, no matter what else happens. They'll own division record tiebreakers over the Cowboys and Giants, and they can't end up with fewer wins unless they lose to Dallas.

Still cutting it close, obviously winning the remaining games is preferred, that was my original point last page.
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.
