perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

MDS

same bet is open to you idiotface

though i highly, highly doubt youll pay

so no, unless you put your trailer on layaway, why even bother
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don't you call him a white trash hick all the time? You're so busy sucking on IGYs grundle you're forgetting to think for yourself sweetcheeks.

I'll decline simply because in all likely hood it's gonna be a push. They're more likely to win only 9 games and make the playoffs then they are to actually win 10.

phreak is betting with his heart and not his head, but hey, no one can really be sure what this team will do.

As I said in a previous thread:

9-7 or 10-6, playoff birth guaranteeing Fatty an extension, first round exit, mediocre draft position.

i'm really not all that concerned with draft position this year.  they really do seem to be set at the skill positions on offense so they don't need draft anyone there.  if anything, kolb showed enough to warrant the eagles not taking another qb before the 5th round.

corners are set for now.  d-line is pretty solid as is also.  lb and o-line imo, are the 2 priorities for the early part of the draft and i'm pretty sure they can get what they need with the 20th-ish pick since that's probably where they'll be.

as annoying as the present is, the future looks quite promising for this team.  too bad reid will still be around to farg it all up.

General_Failure

I might get pretty mad if they don't draft an offensive lineman on the first day.

you have to leave the o line alone in general but certainly you dont spend a first rounder on it...you just gotta hope they get healthy and gel...you invested a ton of money into it and its young...you gotta ride or die with it

by far their biggest need is an end to go opposite killa...greg hardy has massive potential and its way to early to tell where he will land but i love him

linebackers are a complete joke

they need a safety bad

a starting wr over 6 foot is a significant need

Yeah, maybe year 2 will be the year they get the O-line they all envisioned.

I generally agree with this... since a DE opposite Killa is at the top of my wish list too...but:

When you look at the starting LB's next year, I like Witherspoon and Bradley at WIL and MIKE.  They could drop/replace Gocong and I wouldn't blink an eye, but those 3 wouldn't be that bad at the top.

Completely agree there.  Who knows if Taylor Mays will be there when they pick... he could be there with USC's down year on D.  If he's on the board and the Eagles pass him up, I'll throw my chair/barstool/couch.

While I agree with the WR... what's the point?  With Pimp, Mack and Avant, etc... Andy won't think about WR until the 6th or 7th and he doesn't use any plays/passes to take advantage of a WR with size, anyway.

reid clearly favors speed over size at the wr spot.  if he really wanted size there, then he should have kept baskett and released cheggie brown.  i know banner would never let that happen because of brown's cap hit, but if it made more football sense, then that's what they should have done.

de opposite of killa would be nice but lb is probably a bigger need.  i also don't know if you can count on shawn andrews at all next year.  it'd be nice to and if he comes back healthy and ready to play, then the o-line is of much less concern.  but as it stands right now and i'm sure there won't be much change come draft day, andrews spot on the line needs to be taken into serious consideration because you won't know anything definitive about him until he actually takes the field.

i agree with witherspoon and a healthy bradley the linebackers go from awful to just plain bad...but witherspoon is being overrated because hes so much better than gaither...and bradley is a ? coming off a serious injury...

so that leaves crap gocong witherspoon at a position that is almost as unkind to guys in their 30's as the rb position and a guy coming off an exploded knee...without all these variables and with these three at the top of their games the lb's are still only about average...if the opportunity presents itself to draft a good young linebacker in the first round i have no problem doing it

ive come off taylor mays after watching him this year...i highly question whether he can move well enough to play safety at the pro level...his speed is adequete but his hips are suspect as shtein at that position...he really struggles in physically reacting to receivers as well as the ball...i like the idea of him putting on 20-25 pounds and being a sick ass play making linebacker pass rusher hybrid

as for the wr im not saying what andy will do im saying what i would look for in improving the team...while i like mack and believe he can be a productive wr i dont see anything overly special in him but even if im wrong in that his best spot in this league is the Z...if they could get a split end with some size to flank pimp they really would have the makings of something special

hank baskett sucked...and im not looking for someone with his size im looking for a guy that is taller than 6-0 and has some strength...i also dont think andy necessarily favors small wr's...hes never shown that in 11 years here...i think they currently sit where they are purely because of happenstance....pimp and maclin both fell to spots in the draft where they couldnt pass them up...i dont think andy was seeking out small wr's
