It's easy to appear great in an industry that is oversaturated with mediocrity.  Sports talk at its absolute best still isn't very good.

again you have a clear bias....you dont have a successful morning drive show for a million years without being super at it....but throw out the successes all you have to do is listen to him to know he knows exactly what to do and how to do to it to maximize listeners....i dont know how else to explain it he just smoooove as butter like my man called phife

angelo is sticking with WIP for another contract...2/3 years id guess

he crushes gargano. if mike miss quits soon 975 will have to change formats.

Miss isn't going anywhere for a while. His contracts up soon, they're in negotiations.

Gargano...he might have to take a lesser salary or hit the road. With the Angelo extension it gives him even less bargaining power.

I can't even really get into the whole Mike thing, but the stations been very patient with him. A while back he said he was done but I know his agent is definitely in talks with the station to renegotiate his deal. Beasley isn't Greater Media, they're more business like internally. Still great people to work for. They're making cuts, especially to high priced talent. They're also not stupid and know they lose Miss and the fanatic will drown. So it's a balancing act right now. My guess is he does another few years then calls it quits. I know he has interests in other areas he wants to pursue.

they say that but his entire identity is being a sports talk radio hosts. its tough for these guys to give up the life. people stop recognizing you. people stop caring about you. you cant call up for a last minute dinner reservation anymore. you dont get access.

nobody wants to give up the life especially when they are paying you. id guess hes like angelo in that he says hes going to be done then changes his mind and signs back up. you keep doing it until they tell you to get out.

Cantor, a wardrobe stylist at the NFL Network, said Weinberger sent "several nude pictures of himself and sexually explicit texts" and told her she was "put on earth to pleasure me." He also pressed his crotch against Cantor's shoulder and asked her to touch it, according to the complaint.

She said she was also sexually harassed by on-air talent. Faulk, who's an NFL Network analyst, would ask Cantor "deeply personal and invasive questions" about her sex life and fondled her breasts and groped her behind, according to the complaint.

Ike Taylor, also an analyst, sent Cantor "sexually inappropriate" pictures of himself and a video of him masturbating in the shower, according to the filing. Donovan McNabb, a former analyst, also texted her explicit comments, according to the compliant.

Alex Riethmiller, a spokesman for the NFL Network, said Faulk, Taylor and Evans have been suspended from their duties pending an investigation into the allegations.

Weinberger hung up the phone when reached for comment. Joel Segal, who represents Taylor, didn't immediately return a voicemail seeking comment. Jordan Bazant, who represents Faulk and Evans, didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the allegations. Representatives for McNabb didn't immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.P

The suit is actually more than two months old and was reported back then, but no one cared at the time.

I can easily see all those guys acting like described, but this one is a little bizarre in that the sexual complaints are embedded in a bunch of other complaints (some kinda petty) about the way she was treated by the NFL network, and she was fired for stealing from them. I could see her complaints being 100% accurate, but I could also see her being a kook. I hope she has some evidence. Maybe she's got some, since the network has already suspended some of the guys.

Really curious to see how Simmons reacts to the head of his outlet being maybe the worst offender in this.
