so it took me a while to even figure out how to listen to the radio without going out and sitting in my car, then i realized internet.

i just put a $5 parlay on all of rob ford's picks from the junkies this morning, if i win, i get over $15K.

figure the dude is due for some good luck.

was actually a pretty good interview...started out light, talking about football. they dropped one serious question on him and he gave a quick answer and said he'd hang up if they weren't talking football. then they were like give me your top 3 picks this weekend, but he insisted he wanted to do all of them. dude is a football fanatic. i'd probably vote for him actually.

When I see him I see Chris Farley. If he was alive and SNL was still worth a shtein him playing Ford would be an all timer.

Every time I see pics of him he's wearing those NFL team logo ties.

sounds like it wasn't a walk off in protest but it was agreed upon by both the station and macnow and that he didn't do it at 5 because he didn't want the segue into the Howie show to be weird.

rumors are they want to replace him with Ellis and have him do stuff like Howard which is pre/post game and fill ins

im fine with that as I don't usually like him, i think he feeds into the "typical" fan mentality too much "MUST HATE DALLAS" "BIG BACK" kind of shtein.

you need a macnow to a cuz or ellis because he exhibits humility.....i like cuz and hes a great knowledgable sports fan but hes stubborn as all hell and worst of all will never admit hes wrong

ellis isnt as in your face as cuz but hes in that nerd type of sports fan who knows a lot and should be paired with someone who is different from himself....cuz ellis types need to be paired with the macnows fredericks martaranos of the world

cuz/ike, ellis/barkann would be better pairings

i also liked macnow cause he know a little about a lot....whether it was movies or history or politics he brought something to the table other than who the phillies best left handed hitting prospect is
