Seriously. This isn't game one of the second round. They need to give themselves the best chance to win EVERY GAME. Not save their goalie's mental state for the next game. It's way too late in the game for that kind of nonsense.

Leighton weathered the storm of the first 10 minutes, to the point where you fully expected the Flyers to wake up and start playing. They didn't and there isn't a goalie alive that would have gone through that first with out giving up a few goals. While we all bash the Flyers, goalies, the coach etc., I'd hate to not give credit to the Blackhawks, they took it to the Flyers last night, and they owned Pronger who up to this point has been solid as a rock.

it was 3-0 not 1-0...flyers could have woken up and they still would have lost...everyone knew this...laviolette more than anyone...this wasnt game one or two where the blackhawks were off their game...they were on all cylinders and the flyers sucked...there was no chance of a comeback...same way he started limiting prongers time in the second period is the same reason leighton didnt come out after 3-0

game got about a 19 in philly. for reference the phillies and sixers were getting 40s.

Flyers coach Peter Laviolette has decided which goalie will start Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals.

He just won't say if it's Michael Leighton or Brian Boucher.
