Pretty sure game 7 of the 87' finals didn't start at 10, more lke 7. I watched it with my old man and uncle's and I remember it ending at a decent time.

You're wrong. My whole house was asleep. It was on may 31st and it ended on June 1st. I remember it being talked about how the season went too long into the summer. Funny in retrospect.

lmao, its true.  If i had season tickets i wouldnt be.  Basically i told her tonight i have money put away for tickets/anniversary gift.  She wants the game over jewels, but is scared of a loss costing that much.  Anyway, i'm putting feelers out to see what i can do.  You know im a better person in person than the interwebs i hope.

I never saw any of the 80s Flyers live.  I wasn't a hockey fan until all the Lindros buzz in '92....

I'm with ED.  We didnt get prism, so we missed a shtein load of games,  when Lindross came to town, Prism was an option fora bit, and we got on board.  We played street hockey, then got into organized, good shtein.

So I watched the game last night in a sports bar here in Lima.

There were 6 Philly fans in there, including myself.

Great atmosphere and awesome food and beer. I got wasted.

The Flyers' 4-3 overtime victory over the Blackhawks on Versus on Wednesday night earned a 3.1 rating and averaged 3.6 million viewers. It was the highest-rated and most-watched telecast in network history.

3.1 rating is the highest in network history.  Three.  Point.  One.  That probably rivals a nationaly televised regular season baseball game.
