There was a whistle. Just about every single reporter there said there was a whistle.

Asham just blamed the horn guy on the non goal in ot  :-D

And he's probably correct, because no one heard a whistle and I really doubt there was one. Doesn't matter at this point.

You have to give it up for Hartnell. He was basically the worst player on the team the 2nd half of the season but he's been unreal in the playoffs. Him and Leino carried the forwards tonight. Still waiting for Richards/Carter/Gagne to wake up.
and yeah SD, those two in the playoffs really have them where they are.  Especially since Game 3 of the Bruins series.  They both took control.  Hartnell has the capability of being this type of player for long time, he clearly got some good Hoyda to forget about his wifey.

I didnt hear them, and VS never took the time to show 3 Refs and if they did or not.  It happened, but i like the win against that extra adversity.

That's because VS and NBC suck balls.

I've been listening to these games on mute. Emrick is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

i turn my centerchannel speakers down to reduce the noise they talk.  Edzo hasnt been horrible at all like he used to be.  Emrick is just old and not what i want to hear at all.

Rome

That's a terrible thing to say about nails on a chalkboard.

That is why I go to the bar and watch it.  You could have heard a pin drop when that goal was waived off.  Everybody where I was at thought it was over after that.

JR is the shtein, he's drunk on The Daily Line, and he's calling out refs for stuff that went both ways, and how they were zesty.  The Buff breaking prongers stick, and Carcillos "Charging" were game changing horrible calls

ice grillin you

carcillo you cant complain about he two handed dood in the back the idiot ref just called the wrong penalty....plus the bufflin roughing call was horrible especially when you consider they didnt call hartnells roughing...in fact if you call bufflins at the end of the second you could have called hartnell for three or four roughins...personally i thought he played great and i wouldnt have called anything on him just saying if you call buffs how do let hartnell run around the ice all night and not call anything

i thought the refs were fine last night and have been all series

the flyers just need to stay close going into the third because they have been the better team late...which is suprising because chicago is the younger stronger team

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

smeags

wow, what farging series so far. i do have to give hartnell credit for showing up at the right time of the year.

one of these games Leighton has to be really good right?  he's been average or below and they have still been in every game.  his save on Hossa in the 3rd was the only really "great" save i can remember.

oh, and i want to have claude's babies

Agreed, I just wish they'd ref like this all the time and not just in the finals.
