What's the pont of having season tickets if you're gonna sell off the SC games??

Perhaps I'm missing something but, paying for season tickets & going to playoff/cup games > having your regular season tix paid by selling your playoff/cup tickets

im going to game four (if they arent down 3-0) and game 6 if there is one...in the meantime ive sold off one game per round so far and have paid off 90% of my season tickets next year

and thats before i have even sold any of next years tickets which will mostly all go for above face

its not really the corner...its in btwn the goal and the corner...but yeah the prices are insane...face value on the tickets are $80

ive been lucky so far...no visiting team fans yet...the chick that bought these is from warminster...still possible she could be a chicago transplant but i doubt it

I just went back and re-read a few pages of the 2009 Flyers season thread; most notably a page or 2 from the day Pronger was acquired. Gold baby, gold.

This is why they traded a ransome for him.

thankfully nobody ripped the trade for pronger like it was the worst move ever.

its only a good trade if they win the cup....not that he hasnt been good but this year has been something much bigger than than pronger...and has little to do with any individual player


you just cant make all the shtein that has happened up...it cant even begin to be explained by a simple trade...its basically other worldly

i mean if pronger is that good they dont need a boucher save to make the playoffs and they dont go down in any series much less against a team as bad as boston...pronger didnt cause a team who the flyers match up perfectly against (montreal) beat two teams that are way better than them (wash and pitt)...nor did he orchestrate the perfect coaching change mid season...or make just another journeyman nhl'er (lapierre) a flyer legend in less than one season

in other words they make the cup this year with or without pronger or any other player on the team...its something that cant be explained and frankly is other worldly
