only 1 person here knows anything about hockey, and unfortunately that isnt sarges taint  (though i do wish it was)
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

btw, 20 dollar exchange in phILLY?  If they manage to beat a very very talented Hawks team it would be a beautiful thing.

:-D :-D :-D  The reaction of this chick yelling farging Amazing is hilarous.  No one knows how to respond, Coatsey is drunk, and they have nothing for an awkward 38 seconds.  It's safe to say Coatsey's liver might not make it thru the night.

Coatsey looked like he could barely stand up.  Bill Clement's reaction was hilarious.

What i'm thinking about in this series.  The D play in this is a bigger story than the goalies imo(Niemi and Leighton both have had great runs, and good stories.  The D on both teams is very very impressive.  As whole units you gotta give it to CHI for their defensive depth.  The flyers have a very impressive lines on the top 2 D pairs with Kimmo/Coburn play as consistently good as you would expect.  Kimmo is Kimmo, and Coburn has become the Coburn of old.  He's playing like he was expected all season, and throwing more hits than i've seen in a while this post season.  Pronger has been a beast for all of 1 game this entire run.  I can live wit that.  And Carle has been spectacular at times, and average threw some periods.  He steps it up when they need it.  The offense is going to be fast, the D is going to be interesting to see how they handle some very gifted offensive players in Toews/Kane.  Sharpe is who he was in philly, just getting more minutes than Hitchcock could understand.  Goalies are going to come back to earth i think in this type of series.

The weird things about this entire meeting, the history of how long both teams have been in this drought, and how many players on CHI roster were former flyers.  JVR could have been Kane had the lotto fallen into the correct order.  For a fun SCF, this couldnt be any better for the NHL.  Just dont screw it up with ridiculous penalties.  Let them play the game and call the beyond obvious stuff.  Old time hockey would be great to see.

BTW, Kentucky Vintage Bourbon is delicious

Do it for the guy who cried leaving this town.  Gonna be so big, for the NHL, two major towns, two histories, and one returning to Champ.  Cant beat it.
