#1501
Giroux was shoved head first into the boards by Begin.  It was around PP #5 or 6

first time the Flyers have forced a game 6 when down 3-0, and it's the first combined shutout in the NHL in 55 years  :yay

SD

Giroux was just shook up I think he's going to be fine. Richards too.

Best thing to happen in this game (besides the win) was Boucher getting hurt.

BigEd76

early rumors are a knee sprain for Boucher

MDS

lol what?

if boucher is so bad how are they at game 6 of the ec semis? and how could his backup be any better?

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

LBIggle

leighton was obviously better during the regular season before his injury.. hard to say now what you'll get since this is his first playoffs and he's had a long layoff.  i don't think he'll be any worst.. but perhaps has the ability to steal a game which they will need if they have any illusion of taking this.

Boucher has been awful this series, to put it in perspective he was 1-3 this series and his save pct. was .865 and his GAA is up a goal, last series he was 4-1 with a .940 save pct. Tonight was his first decent night in net. Boucher did well last series because he was in position and didn't give easy rebounds, that's Leighton's strength. Leighton's an all around better goalie.

BigEd76

just reported....sprained MCLs in both knees

Emery was the starter and went down with Injury
Leighton came in and is one of the main reasons they even were in a position to make the playoffs but he went down with injury
Boucher came back and stepped in when Leighton went down.

Leighton came back from injury TODAY and got thrown in there after Boucher went down.
