I don't think anyone thought the Flyers were going anywhere anyway. They are pretty much running on lightning in a bottle right now, I honestly believe the loss of Gagne and Carter won't matter that much. It's all about a hot Boucher and players playing aggressive as hell.

If they lose the next round they wouldn't have won anyway, but they are where they are right now not because of Gagne or Carter. Carter didn't even do much until game 4.

Knocking the Devils out was the absolute most we could have hoped for in these playoffs anyway because there's no way they were getting past Buffalo or Rapesburgh let alone the Caps.

Just beat the Devils and send those corksuckers home for the year and I'll be as satisfied as anyone could be without actually winning the Cup.

PS: They sent the Rangers golfing too so that's like winning an entire series in itself.

Giroux and JVR are going to get heavy minutes now.  I'm excited because Giroux obvious gets the playoffs, JVR looked like a rookie game one, but since then he's really stepped up.  shtein he got a penalty for wrecking shop when Richards got borderline boarded in the boards by "The Lithuanian Locomotive"

I didnt even see what he did to get the penalty, but for him to step up in that moment was a great thing for this team and his development.  He's growing an edge to his game, and he's a big kid.  Should be a fun few years really when you look at Giroux's everything and JVR's skills and size.  They had better not get rid of these two.

they play the caps who they were getting swept by anyway...whats sickening is that cap fans didnt know this and now are off the charts giddy about this injury news...thats if the flyers even win this series
