so who was the bigger disappointment....mcnabb or lindross?

are you kidding?  not even close.

it's definitely iverson.

speaking of iverson, the next espn 30 for 30 is on his trial from when he was a kid.

You could make the same comparisons between them too, they never surrounded him with a full cast of players.  The Legion of Doom was amazing, but they had way too many bums after that line.  Not to mention they never had a goalie, and very likely never will

haha

did you borrow a page from the mcnabb excuse-o-meter?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

not at all, but its a valid comparison.  If the flyers went into a tailspin like what Pittsburgh went into, and getting top 5 picks over a period of 5 years It'd be interesting.  They gave up probably the most you'll ever see just to get a player coming out of juniors, and when healthy he was everything you woudl have expected.  Last i heard he was a full blown alcoholic, and he was fired from his job with the NHL as an ombudsman for not showing up to work for 13 months.

sounds like a guy who definitely should have been the face of a franchise

Pat Kane is that for the Blackhawks.  He hates cabbies

Meanwhile Crosby still lives in Mario's basement

Lindros was the greatest checker in league history, he never shied away from a fight, and he was a good hockey player. Yeah the Flyers got fleeced in the deal but that was Farwell's call not his. Like Mcnabb, people only remember the end when things went to shtein.

Like Mcnabb, people only remember that he never won a farging championship.

btw, Kerry Fraser's last game is gonna be against the Rangers April 11th.  His daughter is smoking.  Shes on the left

its pretty sad whats happened to the flyers this year in that they have no chance to advance if they make the playoffs because otherwise this weekend would be just amazing

home and home with the rangers to end the season and two pts seperate the teams for the last spot....how good should that be

I love the people that say "they can beat the Devils in round one because they beat them 5 outta 6 this season". Got news for everyone, no they can't. And even if they do somehow miraculously make it out of round 1 they have no shot of advancing any further than that.

if they have almost anyone but boucher in goal i give them a chance vs the devils...but boucher is not beating anyone in a seven game series....and lord save us all if they have to play the caps

phillies will be under 500 this year...book it

Carter is back, not sure if he's playing but Leino should be playing over Asham/Hartnell.  Not sure what its worth, but rumor is that Hartnell went to Snider and Holmgren and said the game is the only thing thats helping him thru his off the ice shtein.  Thats why they keep putting him out there, despite being a total liability.
