Emery is out for 6 weeks, needs abdominal surgery... It never ends.  He got hurt back in early November, yet is only now getting surgery

yeah it was pathetic running him out there all those games when he was hurt...when they miss playoffs by a few points they can point to that stretch

I couldn't believe they were still winning when they lost half their forwards a few weeks ago...Emery being hurt just put that over the edge.

he told people he was hurt...he just thought he could fight thru it...the team were dopes for letting him try...at the very least he has to get an mri as soon as you hear something could be wrong....they waited thru a monster losing streak before delving deeper

thing is the flyers had a back up goalie in as well

gonna be a long winter in philly...at least the sixers tho can look forward to the draft...i cant believe the flyers wont have a first round pick this year...i thought it was in 2011 when they lost their first pick in the deal

Yep, they dont have another 1st rounder till 2012..LOL  Its the part of the deal i hated, if it worked, it was a good deal, but everything blew up instead, and its a waste of a team for years now.

IIRC they don't have a 2nd-rd pick either (I think LA has it)
