You must be getting confused with the old days when they had Mike Lange. Errey is good but Paul Steigerwald is easily one of the worst NHL announcers.

huh?...steigerwald was the old days....annouced with lang forever and was always better...altho lang was excellent as well...but people overrated him because of his cutesey calls

The pitt announcers were horrendous. Just brutal, oh the big bad flyers. THey do whatt hey do and the pens keep on winning. Calling Hartnell a "mop head" etc. etc. it was moronic.

What I hate the most is, Steigy was good as Mike Langes side kick back in the day, Errey is good on NHL on the Fly. Together they are the second worst broadcast team in sports. I would have to put McCarver/Buck slightly below them.
