GF, I think we need to add "spits on babies" to the tailgating forum description...

QuoteI moved up to the Lehigh Valley 6 months ago, and have been missing home with a passion. I was able to get a ticket for the game in Philly, and I'm not going to turn it down. I told my staff that I was going down to the game with all my Saints gear on me and the car. They have been trying to talk me out of saying that the fans are horrible down there. One of my servers even said that a group of men spit on her baby for wearing a NY Giants jersey. Does anyone else have any issues or stories to tell about the fans in Philly? I cant wait for tomorrow to come!!!

QuoteFH, please watch your back. These people have thrown snowballs at Santa Claus!
Trust me, I know. I have lived in Jersey all my life. Heard too many stories. Been to one game in Philly...

Dude, find some fellow Whodats and hang with them. and DO NOT leave your car decorated in black and gold. They will throw batteries at your car with YOU in it. and be ready to be insulted all day long. They will try to push your buttons.

Hopefully, most of them will be gone halfway thru the 4th quarter when the game is out of reach for them. Just be smart and be safe. Good luck!

QuoteI'm not trying to be a tough guy or anything, but I'm damn proud to be a saints fan. I've got my car decked out, and I've got my gameday apparel i always wear every game. If I get hit, yelled at, thrown at, or any of the unmentionable, I won't care. I've been to so many games where all of us have been top notch fans even when we leave the dome in defeat. karma will win this game for us! I have never felt this confident going into a game before in my entire life. God Bless every single member of the who dat nation!!

Today WILL be a day we compare other games to....
Geaux Saints and Who Dat!!

What number does this Karma guy wear?!?

Idiot.

Did anyone tell this kook that it's only the second game of the year?  I think fans at the Linc will be to in shock to react to this guy all "decked out" as I believe there are only three Saints fans outside the LA state border.

And two of them probably live in Houston now, after being relocated.

The man. The myth. The legend.

An odd feeling came over me today...I actually think these guys have a shot to win.

I, for one, am shocked. SHOCKED!

Haha. For real. Phreak you are ridiculous and I love you for it. An odd feeling came over you... HA.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I didn't think they could win, but I saw the light yesterday. The homer light.

Kevin Kolb. Kevin farging Kolb. You do the math.

Saints - more
Eagles - less

Don't like this match up with our current starting QB.

Defense will keep us in it but they have too much firepower.

Saints 24

Eagles 13

Considering that Korn Kolb can't throw the ball over 30 yds. in the face of a 10 mph. wind, I don't think the Eagles have much of a chance. Last week he heaved one to Jackson that DJ outran, and had to slow up so much that he ended up playing defender. Only chance the Eagles have is to run, run, and run some more.

PhillyPhanInDC

I think if Kolb throws more than 17-18 times, the Birds loose. They've got the line, the FB, and runners to pound the ball all day. BWest and Shady should both have over 15 carries.

They won't do any of it, Kolb will throw 25+ times, and have minimum 2 picks and maybe 200 yards passing. The sunny side (I'm hoping) is that if they loose, which I am pretty sure they will, Kolb is so horrid he doesn't last the rest of the season on the team. Get it over with.

Alright, game day finally.  Action instead of words... just one hour to go!  Good luck to both teams (particularly in avoiding injuries).  Who dat!

QB Eagles

McNabb officially out.

QB1: Kolb
QB2: Garcia
QB3: Westbrook/Jackson

NC_Eagle

I'd put Westbrook #1 over Kolb...
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.
