Where are the "I hate Leonard Little for killing a HUMAN...ban him from the NFL!" pages? Oh, that's right...people seem to value dog's lives over humans. I asked that question to someone and they said that Vick PLANNED On beating/killing dogs....the other people "just drove drunk and killed by accident".

Let me add, I am not a fan of Vick. I wasn't before he was found guilty, and I'm not now that he's an Eagle.

But the hypocrisy from people is, while expected, nauseating. I saw a guy with a Rams logo as his FB profile picture....BLASTING Vick for being scum of the earth. Wonder if he was wearing his Little jersey when he posted it.

Not my point. My point is that its all fine and good to say that dogs are more important/better than humans...and for most, lol, its probably true. But clearly its not the case for all.

You're not alone.  It's a weak ass argument that pops up all the time.  You can't have a discussion about capital punsihmet without this rhetorical trick being pulled out of the "I don't have a strong postion" hat.  

We recently had a Baltimore City cop wreck his personal car in PA, killing his son and son's girlfriend.  He was flown by helicopter not to the closest trauma ready hospital, but back to Baltimore.  I asked, hmm...is that appropriate?  Does that fall under mdevac policy guidelines?  Would a normal Baltimore citizen be treated the same way?  Etc.  The response I got was, stop asking such horrible questions, what if that was your family?

At that point, I knew I was talking to a dining room table and the conversation was over.
