Next up for renewal should be Avant who is a FA or RFA, depending on the cap or lack there of next year.

Gocong, MJG in the same boat as Avant. Rocca's contract is up after this year but good chance he's gone.

On the other side of the equation, those under contract next year but likely to be gone in 2010 are Curtis ($5M), Vick ($4.5M), Stacy Andrews ($7.farging6M), and Reggie Brown (particularly if there isn't a $3.5M cap hit which is a little more than his $3M base).

No idea what they'll do with Shawn A.

Did anybody see yesterday on DNL that the Eagles are 43-5 under Reid when running the ball at least 30 times? Amazing isn't it?

And normally you'd expect to see a somewhat self-fulfilling stat like that as teams "run" out the clock when having the lead. Except the rotund one. No sir, anytime Mr. Cartridge-belt has a lead into the 4th, he'll throw the ball three times on his own ten given the chance. Makes that stat for this particular team even more compelling, no?

-- $4.78M signing bonus
-- new base salary of $3,497,858 in 2009
-- 2010 = $2,175,000 + $75K workout bonus

Because NBC has to make the call based on what they know this week, do you think they'll flex out of the Eagles Week 14 game at the Meadowlands for SD @ DAL? I think they do.

My preseason bet of less than 9.5 wins for the season is coming down to the line (a whole $20!). If they go 2-3 I win, 3-2 I lose.

Sadly, I think it will probably come down to the Dallas game, where my hatred of Dallas and my love of 20 dollars will have to fight it out.
