The Philadelphia Eagles, perhaps reevaluating the depth at three positions on defense, worked out three players on Tuesday, a source confirmed.

LB Steve Octavien, S Daniel Bullocks and CB Cletis Gordon worked out for Philadelphia.

Octavien was waived by the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4. He also worked out for the Green Bay Packers earlier this season. Octavien, who was signed as an undrafted free agent by Dallas in 2008, saw nearly 250 plays for special teams for the Cowboys last season.

Bullocks, who was originally selected in the second of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions, was released by Detroit on Jul. 9. He appeared in 31 games and started 22 for Detroit.

Gordon, who most recently spent time with the Florida Tuskers of the UFL, was originally signed as a rookie free agent in 2006 by the San Diego Chargers. He appeared in 30 games and started one for the Chargers. He appeared in one game for Dallas last season.

Philadelphia has now worked out 22 players this season.
