Per Rotoworld: Free agent Dede Dorsey was among three running backs that worked out for the Eagles this week, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.

Power back Dwayne Wright was also part of the workout. It's just another sign that the Eagles are preparing for life after Brian Westbrook. LeSean McCoy is likely to enter 2010 as the feature back and Dorsey would provide an even speedier option on passing downs.

That would be a good signing, Dorsey has some wheels.

Calm down there guy, no one is saying that he is a great running back.  He has a little bit of talent.  He could be a Eldra Buckley type pick up if they sign him.  If not no one will care.  All I was saying from watching him play a little he looks like he could develop into something.

Seahawks sign CFL sack leader

We noted early this month that Rick Foley, who led the Canadian Football League in sacks last season, was drawing interest from multiple NFL teams.

Now Foley has signed with the Seattle Seahawks, turning down offers from the Rams and Eagles.

Foley told the Canadian newspaper The Province that he's excited to play for new Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, and he thinks he's a good fit in the Seahawks' defense defence.

"New team, new coach, new defence and new position in their defence," Foley said. "Nobody has an advantage going into camp."

Foley was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in 2006 but never got into a game. He says he's a much better player now than he was then, and based on the evidence from the CFL, he may be right: Last year he was named the best defensive player in the CFL as a British Columbia Lions defensive end.

"The last time I tried I didn't know how to study or even read a playbook," Foley said. "I was naive. I'm a better player now and a lot more professional."

it's like the guy had no clue how to spell defense so he just threw them both out there figuring that one of them had to be right write.
