I lived in Harrisburg twice growing up. Steelers fans definitely outnumber Philly fans but there are a fair number of people who root for both. Which is weird and unnatural and gay.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

absolutely 100% not...it used to be more taterskin fans than eagle fans till they left...steeler fans dominate eagle fans up there...its not even close...been that way since the 70's...

Dude, you don't live there, how do you know this?

FF, neither do you.

Yeah, I don't have any family or friends in the area.  None.  None at all.  You want to take a stand that there are more Philly fans than Pittsburgh fans in the Harrisburg area?  Good luck with that.

PhillyPhreak54

Scintillating discussion on the fan percentages of Harrisburg, PA.

It's every bit as exciting as someone opening their door into your ride, sir.

PhillyPhreak54

I bet myself that you would make that comment. I win.

I love this pick.

LeSean McCoy is something of a boom or bust prospect. I'm not at all comparing these two players in terms of talent, but McCoy's running style reminds me a little of Barry Sanders - a lot of cutbacks, kicking it to the outside, stop and start on a dime, etc. Again, I'm not saying he's even remotely as talented as Barry (the best RB ever) but he does have that style of running. I don't know how that's going to translate at the next level.

On the other hand, McCoy's got great hands - he was probably the best screen back in the league - and really phenomenal vision. I know there were some complaints about his lack of elite timed speed. But anyone who's seen the tape knows McCoy more than makes up for it with tremendous acceleration - he's goes from zero to full sprint in a flash. McCoy's a really exciting player and probably the best fit for this offense - I'm really looking forward to seeing him in Eagles green.

QB Eagles

On September 23, 2007, the Eagles played the Lions at home, and the Steelers played the 49ers at home. FOX Harrisburg showed the Eagles game.

There are instances of it going the other way when it's late in the season and the Eagles game is bad. PIT and PHI both get a lot of primetime and late games and play in different leagues so the issue doesn't come up that often. I think they even get Ravens games vs. the PA teams sometimes if there's a huge difference in the quality of the games.

Incidentally, this year Week 3:

CLE @ BAL1:00 PMCBS
PIT @ CIN1:00 PMCBS
KC @ PHI1:00 PMCBS

My ex-wife was from Shamokin, about an hour due north up route 11.  I can tell you, from visiting there, if it was Eagles v. Steelers at 1PM, Eagles was blacked out (at least in the 90s).
Anyone but Reid.

I don't see how that matters one usually plays on CBS and one usually plays on Fox.  I do know in this area if the Ravens and Steelers play at the same time there have been several instances where the Ravens were on TV and the Steelers weren't.  Most Steelers fans I know don't care though it just gives them an excuse to go to the bar.  Anyway I know nothing I have only lived in this area my entire life minus the last 3-1/2 years.
