Anyone tell Monty that the NL hosts in odd years now?

The KC 2013 one might as well be set in stone.

nothing is written in stone...and they would easily make an exception for that occasion

100% chance philly hosts the game for the 250th anniversary.

hr derby had the bandbox should be a...blast hahaha
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

Jim Thome had a 3 run homer and a grand slam last night back to back.  The slam was an absolute bomb to center.   I never realized that the White Sox set off fireworks after one of their players hits a home run, though.

Holdover from the Bill Veeck years, I believe.

Munson

CF Wise for the White Sox just made an incredible catch in the 9th inning to help save Burley's (spelled that wrong) perfect game so far.

1 more out for a perfect name.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Rome

Only the 18th time in history.

Amazing.

And and incredible frigging catch to save it too.

Feva

It's amazing to listen to the play because the crowd is cheering as Buerle throws the pitch, they go silent as theball is hit... and then they go absolutely nuts when Wise makes the catch.

On a side note, SportsCenter showed pretty cool video of the reaction in the Phils locker room as Wise made the catch.
