For the last time Thome has more juice in him than blood. Give it up.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Thome tied Mike Schmidt on the all-time HR list

i think him and jr griffey are the only 2 players to pass schmidt legitimately.

Bonds probably would have passed Schmidt legitimately, but we'll never know.

Sgt PSN

probably.  i think bonds would have made a run at 600 without the juice.  allegedly.

Orioles release Adam Eaton

QuoteEaton gave up seven runs in 4 2-3 innings against the New York Yankees on Thursday, a performance that left him 2-5 with an 8.56 ERA. He allowed nine homers and 19 walks in 41 innings, and lasted longer than six innings only once.

"The way he pitched made this move self-evident," Orioles manager Dave Trembley said. "I just didn't see him being able to locate his pitches on a regular basis."

Rome

If the Orioles win the Series I doubt they'll give him a ring.

Went to the Rangers/Astros game today. We used one of our vendors club tickets and it was the first time I've ever sat in a club section where they take your order from your seat and you don't ever have to get up. Kinda cool.

Nelson Cruz crushed two balls. I asked the usher in our section where I could find Ed Wade and he said we missed his daily walk through the club boxes by about 15 minutes.

I avoided the out of town scoreboards because I was DVR'ing the Phils...I could have saved myself the time and not even watched the junk when I got home.

So the team that spells their name NATINALS, can't even spell the name of one of their promotions and a former president right.

Amazing.

Sgt PSN

is dan quale running their quality control department these days?

Looks like Teddy is about 5 seconds from a happy ending.

Burrell might need neck surgery.  They said it's similar to what Derrek Lee had and it's almost like turf toe...

ice grillin you

grienke pitched 8 innings of one run ball last night and his era went up!
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Sgt PSN

greinke has been absolutely sick this year.  he's always had good stuff and i figured he could pitch for just about any other team somewhere in the middle of the rotation.  the entire royals pitching staff has been fairly good this year but they've got one of the worst offenses in all of baseball.  maybe even the worst.  too bad there's almost no way the phils could trade for him.  he's not costing the royals a lot in salary and i think they've got him locked up for a couple of more years on the cheap.

Almost like turf toe...in the neck?!  :sly

Greinke has made a helluva turnaround. He was basically written off awhile back with the anxiety disorder and now the guy is throwing like Bob Gibson.

If he played a real sport he'd have a healthier way to release all of that aggression. Poor guy.
