Sgt PSN

glad you made it back ok.  hope it wasn't complete hell for you over there.

heading back the civilian world, eh?  army wasn't able to retain you with a massive bonus that they will take back 28% of?

Drunkmasterflex

Yeah I decided the Army was affecting my drinking too much.  The cash bonus was tax exempt in Iraq though.

that's why you should have joined the corps.  you can drink whenever you want.

that's the one good thing about iraq too.....all tax free.  that's the only reason i hope we get deployed there instead of africa.  would much rather get 7 months of pay tax free in iraq instead of taxed in africa.

good luck with the transition.  it's going to be tough get readjusted to civlian life.  you got any jobs lined up?  going to be able to jump right back in doing whatever it was you did before joining?

Phanatic

Welcome back sassy. Fatal combat get you kicked you off the internetz for awhile?

yeah, an f-22 went down about 35 miles off base.  my house is also located about 35 miles off base too.  :paranoid   it happened around 10am on wed.  i still haven't heard all the details about exactly what happened though.  i do know that the pilot was able to eject but still didn't survive.

No word yet if he was a former phillies pitcher

that's already been ruled out because he didn't fly face first into a building.

Rome

Missing the target entirely is more a hallmark of Phillies pitchers over the years.

It would be interesting to know the details of the crash. The F-22 is the States newest plane and far as I know this is the first time one has went down. I can't help but wonder if it was pilot error or a mechanical malfunction.

The fact that Sarge went away and was dragged back by Demon is not cool. I went through that whole song and dance last year and I will never forgive Demon for it.

Ever.
