Apparently, they'd be signing Springs to "get in there and compete" by playing some dime CB and some third safety packages.  I doubt Dawkins would have accepted a role like that, and there's the difference.

Look, the farging front office doesn't give a rats ass about us as fans. Handing over money to them becomes harder and harder to do every year they pull this type of shtein. This was like the straw.

And if people did start cancelling their tickets en mass, and everyone on the waiting list said no thanks, they can pick up and move to San Antionio or some other city that will beg them to come.
