Anyone watching this Humanitarian Bowl?  I love these non BCS bowls!  Idaho/Bowling Green.  Amazing game.

Is there anything worse than ESPN's insistence on having a streaming commercial and news report associated with every article. Don't they know that people are trying to slack discreetly at work?

Yeah, no shtein. I got caught the other day because the damn video started playing.

yes, they are annoying as hell not to mention that they seriously slow down how long it takes for the page to download. 

however, you can change the settings so that they don't play automatically.  if you don't have an espn.com account, register for one.  it's free.  then go to "personalization corner" and turn video auto-play to off. 

one kind of cool feature that they do have over there is called "sports passport" that you can use to keep track of all of the sporting events and venues that you've been too.

Did you see that #77 on Idaho?  The guard?  Unfargingbelievable.  Word is he may be one of the top guards in this years draft.

Herbstreit just brought up something that completely surprised me.  He was talking about how he always talks up the SEC about being the best conference (which it is) however the Big 10 is 12-10 against in bowls during the BCS era.

I used to think that about Herby, but he is a hell of an analyst.  You can say what you want but that is a surprising stat, I wouldn't even think that it would be close.

the end of that Northwestern/Auburn game was crazy.  Auburn and the refs kept trying to give NW that win and they still lost...

and I was never a fan of FSU's program but Bowden's final press conference was great to watch.  His wife had to come drag him off stage or else he would've answered questions for another 2 hours....

nicely done admitting penn state is not a philly team. farg nova is more philly than that MA school.

but yea, lay off easy. even the backhanded compliments are uncalled for. dook is a total legend, easy first ballot hall of famer. you dont even do nothing but respect the king cause he dont miss
