QuoteIn business or in sports, dysfunction takes a thousand forms. But it usually starts at the top then leaches down, corrosively into the core product.

Very true and as we've seen this works in the world of government, too. I wish this article had been written five years ago. It could have been.

Eagaholic

Good article, nicely portrays everything we've already known.

Colt Brennan was put on IR with a hamstring injury

And Daniel was released. Dominant college QBs for the lose.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I laughed heartily at Boswell's column until I came across this passage...

QuoteThis is the kind of unconscious affection that bad owners prey upon. To them, we're better than mere customers. We're their marks, their suckers, branded from childhood with the team logo. And the worst of them exploit it shamelessly, though they had nothing to do with the creation of that loyalty.

... and then the laughing stopped.

He could have just as easily been talking about Lurie there.

QuoteNow that we're part of the semi-legitimate media, we need to behave like the semi-legitimate media and pretend that we know what we're talking about when it comes to predicting the teams that will make it to the postseason.

Hail to the taterskins!

Washington's a lot better than people are giving them credit for.

They'll outdo the Giants this weekend, even though the G-Men are tough they're about to find out what happens when you don't have a receiver that dictates coverage physically combined with an erratic quarterback.

Florio, you're back on the Christmas Card list.

yup, because if there's a fan out there who knows all about teams with lack luster recievers and erratic qb play, it's a taterskins fan.

skins schedule is ridiculously easy....they have a guaranteed 6 wins without even showing up...just go 4-6 in their other 10 and they got double digit wins...i dont know about superbowl but they have as good a chance to win the division as any of the other three teams.....their defense is gonna be a monster

and as i mentioned in another thread them getting 6.5 on sunday is almost to easy

easy? not too sure what schedule youre looking at because the 2nd half of the season is what really counts for any team for the playoffs

and they have Eagles before the bye, then after their bye week they have 4 more divisional games, San Diego and New Orleans

phattymatty

for real i don't see how the skins schedule is easy.  their last 7 games are pretty brutal other than the raiders game.  which they will lose anyway.
