Down here in Hickville (aka Fredericksburg) all of the shelters, etc. are full of pit bulls with bad attitudes. Cops had a big bust a few weeks back where dog fighters were selling off dogs that didn't have enough "game" to unsuspecting families, etc.

Dogfighting is much more popular in the south than the north but it's still only done by an extreme minority of both whites and blacks.

I've done a lot of work for the Navy and I've been in that really zesty part of Newport News a lot. The place is a hellhole slum but the idea that dogfighting is an inescapable part of the culture down there is just untrue. A lot of people there get mixed up in hard drugs and violence, but not so much dogfighting. I can understand someone from that area not having much respect for animal life, because even human life is barely respected there. But I'd guess most people growing up there would never see a dogfight in their lives.

There were only a handful us in full skins gear until game was over. Then, after the win, probably about 1,000 skins jerseys appeared out of no where.

I went 3 years ago when we had the playoff run with gibbs. I was way up behind the goal line. I wore all my taterskins gear and got doused with middle fingers and **** yous but noone dared to come in my face! I would have dared them.
