Bear in mind to know what the taterskins are doing one must actually speak to someone employed by the taterskins. The taterskins were never quite as into Cutler as was reported. The taterskins were not as into Owens as reported. The taterskins were not as into Fassel as was reported. The taterskins did not even consider hiring the Giants coordinator, as was reported.

There is no question there are sources outside taterskin Park who talk about what the taterskins may do or contact they may make. And you can often connect the dots on that. Sometimes you can't.

Our FO is Using Reverse Psychology With Campbell(Merged)
Ever since We drafted him, he was given the name, "Future of the Washington taterskins." He was basically given the job, before he had even been to a practice. He knew this was his team.

Fast forward to now...he still has a secure sense that he is the QB, although he has not proven his consistency yet. He knows the old guy Collins isn't much of a threat, and Brennan is still 3rd string. He isn't playing with a certain "urgency" that other QB's seem to play with. He is a little too comfortable in the pocket, which leads to sacks(O-line is also to blame.)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Campbell needs to be fired up because we all know he is not lazy and works his *** off. I'm saying, that he needs a fire lit up his ***, to give him that sense of urgency. He needs to know, that at all times his job is at stake. If he can't deal with that pressure, than he isn't fit to be a QB.

Here is where our FO comes in. They haven't exactly shown "enough" interest in Cutler, but enough interest to make Campbell feel added pressure to perform. It may be the spark Campbell needs to get to the next level.

Think about it, the conventional "we support you 100%" phrase has not worked with Campbell. We have shown him far too much support, handing him the starting spot on a silver plate. Maybe, doing the opposite will have a positive effect on him.

Campbell is "the guy" IMO. He is who we should build around. Maybe we just need to take a different approach
