So, Nick Cole is going to get one of those awesome 12-year-deals that will overpay him wildly if he bombs out and cause a huge argument in a couple years if he does play well.  Sweet.

BigEd76

yeah, but he'll get like $400K in each of those years so it'll be OK.....until he comes back crying in year #4...

reese125

how fast do the Eagles start negotiations with Albert Haynesworth on Feb 27th?

rjs246

3 of their last four top picks have been DTs. No chance they sign Haynesworth.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

SunMo

they had Lito Sheppard last year and still signed Asante Samuel...

QB Eagles

QuoteOn the eve of the deadline to place the franchise tag on Peppers, a person close to the player said Wednesday that the impending free agent wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys or three other unnamed teams, two of them in the NFC.

Not really sure why I'm posting this in the Eagles forum, though. Peppers has the same odds of becoming as Eagle as Boldin, Suggs, Haynesworth, and the Tooth Fairy.

stranger things have happened in fa.

in '04 the eagles went out and got that cripple jevon.  they had just drafted mcdougle, and green (who some thought was the better pass rusher), and still had their usual chronically injured eagle (like buck) in burgess.  hugh was even still on the team, 2 years? removed from the pro bowl

but hugh was getting old, burgess was injured a lot and who knows what you have in draftees and blah blah blah.

extremely slim chance we get haynesworth, like mentioned before bc we got 3 young'n's there.

i still say they should go out and make him one of their top priorities
Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No pro bowl WR's.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Retarded special teams.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  "I've got to do a better job."  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Running game shines for 3 plays. Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No adjustments anywhere.  Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  (repeat)

rjs246

Of course they should but they won't.

NFL Live was saying you'd have to worry about Haynesworth not playing hard after he gets paid, but in an interview he said that he doesn't want his NFL legacy to be he cleet kicked that Cowboy loser his fat face and wants to be a role model to his kids
