Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The local news here is hilarious.

We had some ice last Friday and it was like the end of the world. Houston is mainly bridges and overpasses so it turns into a skating rink.

Tomorrow is supposed to be the same...after being in the 60s and 70s the last couple days.

Local news is showing people how to pack survival bags in case they are stranded. "and folks even gloves and hats can make a huge difference"

Then an interview with the red cross, police chief and fire chief...

holy farg....

Munson

lol wow.

The roads in my neighborhood have been covered with snow and/or ice since last tuesday.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Diomedes

I'm not generally one to forgive Texans for anything but could anyone reasonably expect them to understand the concept of freezing precipitation, bridges freezing, etc?  For one, they very rarely experience anything like it, so they have very little opportunity to learn.  And for two, they are Texans.  Learning is not a strong suit.
