I can understand the sentiment, but it is a farging shame that Birds fans will never know what could have been with DMac. For one year, he had a go-to WR that you see just about every other legit franchise QB have.

The thing that burns me about this whole game, and this season, is Dawkins. I have to admit, I wouldn't hate on him at all to leave via free agency, go to a winner, and get his ring there.

I thought that the end of the season two years ago, that the window was mostly definitely closed on the Birds chances at a ring, and after this performance, I don't see how it doesn't become apparent to everyone in the organization. Logic and objectivity seem to lacking in NovaCare in the offseasons, however, so it'll more of the same last year.

Dawk hasn't done anything in this game to make me feel sorry for him. In fact, that first Cardinals TD is on his poor coverage.

oh, we know what it's like with mcnabb. it's about throwing inaccurately, not seeing wide open receivers, and coming up small in the biggest games.

I'll give you that. We have only had a big time legit WR once in his career and unfortunately it was Charles Manson's younger brother. Than again look at some of the passes he's thrown today. Guys wide open, throwing to the wrong side, etc. Not even a legit #1 could get those.
