he's a better pitchman for bojangles than he is a quarterback.

That's $7 million per INT.

Gotta love when an organization is classy enough to reward their mediocre players with lucrative contract extensions.

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Forget Sheldon, that's the money McNabb is going to ask for ten minutes before he asks to be traded.

QuoteTexas Tech Coach Rips Mangini
Posted by Aaron Wilson on April 25, 2009, 8:33 p.m.

Texas Tech coach Mike Leach didn't take kindly to those rumors about star wide receiver Michael Crabtree supposedly acting like a diva during his official visit with the Cleveland Browns, blaming Browns coach Eric Mangini as the source behind a leak that may have damaged Crabtree's draft stock as much as his minor foot surgery.

Crabtree wound up being picked by the San Francisco 49ers after being originally projected as high as the Browns' fifth overall pick.

As for Mangini, he might not find himself too welcome on the Texas Tech campus in the future, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.

"Michael Crabtree has been more successful as a receiver than that guy as a coach at this point," Leach said of Mangini. "Part of the reason is he's (Crabtree) too shy to be like that. ...

"My definition of a diva is someone who's loud and self-absorbed. Michael Crabtree is the furthest thing from loud that I've seen. ... Let's see how all those non-divas do up in Cleveland this year."

Ouch. I guess Mangini and Leach won't be hanging out in the Flats together anytime soon.

Damn, Mike...let 'er rip, buddy

mike leach is a very interesting character.  definitely much more to him than your average football coach.  he's part lombardi, part phil jackson and part 12 yr old kid.
