ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Julius Peppers has formally asked the Panthers to allow him to seek employment elsewhere.

yes please

If he makes it to F/A my prediction is the Eagles do everything in their power to sign him. [insert mandatory AT the Novacare complex statement here]

Peppers will be a skin or a cowboy.  Book it.

General_Failure

Sure, but the Eagles will try really really super hard to get him. For real!

The man. The myth. The legend.

PoopyfaceMcGee

It would be a coup if they could get him in on the first day of free agency and lock it up.

I think that will happen somewhere else, though.

QB Eagles

Peppers would be great, but you gotta figure there are teams out there much more desperate for a DE than the Eagles are.

MDS

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QB Eagles

Then again, I would have said the same thing about Asante Samuel last year.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Maybe Juqua Parker is about to pull a Lito.

hey if the Panthers franchise his ass, Andy should be more than happy to give the 2 first rounders up for him since they dont use them anyway

They'd really only have to give them one first rounder of their own plus Carolina's from last year's deal of the century.

For Peppers... gimme.

they aren't gonna franchise him and take a $14M hit

Rams just hired Spagnuolo.....4-yr deal

The Andy Reid coaching tree is growing:
Reid
Childress
Harbaugh
Spagnuolo

Who's next?  Frazier?

Seabiscuit36

Frazier was close to getting one of the jobs i heard yesterday
"For all the civic slurs, for all the unsavory things said of the Philadelphia fans, also say this: They could teach loyalty to a dog. Their capacity for pain is without limit." -Bill Lyons

DH

yea, the skins or cowboys may get him, but the eagles may be super bowl champs by then...

just sayin...
